They have been used in combination with flocculants, as well as by adsorbing the ions and colored substances in water by activated carbon.
Another advantage of the superconducting sewage treatment unit is its small footprint." Cai Fangshuo said that the aperture 20cm processor, for example, covers an area of about 100 square meters, is the traditional sewage treatment plant covers an area of dozens of square meters. Superconducting separation wastewater treatment technology was completed in 2016, and the sample machine research and development has entered the industrialization stage at present. It is expected to be applied in July 2017.
For further improvements to the technology, Cai Fangshuo said that in the future, more magnetic species will be developed for different pollutants. "At present, our equipment has only two apertures, which will be done later, and the throughput will be increased accordingly. Low cost manufacturing and mass production will also be realized." Cai Fangshuo hopes that the technology will be able to radiate all over China and contribute to water environmental governance.
